Back from the weekend !
It was different, I don't know how else to explain it. Maybe it's just me. n-t-ways.
So, I am currently demolishing Richard William's The Animator's Survival Kit, and let me just say, it's everything I thought and more. lol

As we speak I am updating my wish list on Amazon, My check card will be used heavily on the site pretty durn soon. lol.

And me thinks I have a job interview tomorrow. I am still going back and forth with la hiring lady. hah.

I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Even though I titled my blog MNF, I have no intentions of watching any football tonight. lol .

It's Freakin' Friday ! TGIF

Off to get some handy-dandy Col-erase pencils, for .73cents, whoop ! I so excite ! lol
Then I may go buy a pair of boots. Today I'm riding the metro again, which weirdly enough I can't wait to do. Why you ask ? Because of the many people doing normal and or weird things just waiting to be captured into my sketchbook of doom !

I started over on my little dude, that I mentioned, or that I think I mentioned. Either way, I realized halfway through that my contrast was kind of set too low so my ink outline would have to be painted over. (waste of valuable time). So, I decided to scrap that one and start again with higher contrast.

Am I boring you yet ? lol

I also would like to know why the hell it was a warm summers night last night and today Fall decides to rear it's ugly semi rainy/cloudy head. grrr.

TV Blog

I had a rigorous workout today.. Sheesh, I'm so tired. On the upside, I've been doing some character coloring in Photoshop. Woop ! I decided not to post the tiger though. I also found and took apart a printer/scanner. Even better than that is the fact that it works. I've been taking apart many things in my spare time. lol

Anyways I'm watching Flash Forward and it's awesome!

This was an assignment from my Color Theory Class.

One of my favorite acrylic paintings. There's also some pen and ink tossed in there. I did one in color. That's coming next.

Scribb-lay

Cleaning out my art bag/folder, I came across some drawings and I figured hey, why not post them? But I sincerly hope they don't leave my page. I don't want to have to shank somebody. lol.. No seriously though. Anywhoo, there they are.
This, I don't quite remember when I drew, but clearly I was feeling rather "scribb-lay" and didn't care for sky. lol

Kinda Sketchy !

I purchased a handy dandy new sketchbook !
my goal is to actually fill every page ! Usually I will buy a sketchbook, then a couple months/whatevers down the road see a prettier sketchbook and then buy that one.. lol weird. I know.
Soooo, I've given up that lifestyle, How will I ever be serious with one sketchbook if I keep jumping around from this new one to that new one.
I'm sorry sketchbook. you deserve so much more from me.

I Dream in Color

Animation makes me happy.

I have found more stuff relating to the wonderful world of animation. i.e blogs, tweets, tips, tutorials, past assignments, etc, more than enough to teach myself until and or if i decide to go back to school for it.

4 years for a bfa was enough for me. Even though i do miss being in school. I'm also peeved because the year that I graduated was the year they(my school) implemented a whole Animation track, and i'm talking the works here. I could've cried ! Instead, I've resolved to learn on my own. There is a multitude of information, and i already have the passion and the drive. That's two out hmm let's just say three. lol .

Besides, ive always been great at teaching myself, can't get mad at me when i yell at myself. lol

Semi-Rainy Day Blog

Today for some reason, I just feel awesome. I've been listening to that new Trey Songz Album. It is on point. smh.

Just another regular day, i guess. I went through my ginormous bag/folder of artwork today.. ahhh memories. It really made me feel like taking out the paints and canvas and just spending the day painting. I really wish i had a mini studio, or that my room was big enough so i could have a corner set up. but alas, it is not. :(

Sidenote- I had a big n' tasty from mcdonalds today( bad, i know) but fyi it was big but it definitely was not tasty. blech.

Sidenote- Debating on going to VSU's homecoming, Last year wasn't so great.. a bunch of drayma.. lol

Twitterful Tuesday.

Another day, another day.

At the moment, I'm feeling rather blank in regards to my blog posting. So, I will just ramble for a couple of paragraphs. lol .

I found this awesome website called the www.thebeesneezeanimation.com, and it had an abundance of animation information, i was up until 2ish just going through everything and clicking the links. The crazy part is that i haven't even made a dent in all the information that the author has posted so far. I love it !

Sidenote- I need to get my printer back up to par. I don't always like to read large amounts of information on the screen, I'd rather have it in front of me. I like to highlight and squeeze in little margin notes.

Super Sidenote- I need to lose this summer weight I gained, before the winter hits. ugh. No bueno tummy, no bueno. That's all i really need to work on, trimming and toning my tummy, and also i would like calf muscles for christmas.. lol. To make my oh so shapely legs even hotter.. lol.

um. i guess i'll come back later. I am really am going to try and clean/organize my room. I just get distracted and then subsequently lazy.

Okay, so I got lost in the world wide web again, but I just love googling anything and everything related to animation and seeing what i come up with. Literally, it changed my mood earlier. it's just pure greatness.. okay. goodbye

Decision

so, now that i've decided on a blogspot, i guess i can get down to business. hmmm. since, i don't have a full-time job, i have all the time in the world for the great things in life.

So now, I will embark on cleaning my drafting table, which btw i was so amped to purchase, but now i use it a regular old boring desk. FAIL.. lol it deserves so much more out of life.

oh, i found this awesome drafting table at ikea with a light table built-in. who cares if i already have a light table and a drafting table, THAT IS NOT THE POINT.. lol. it was only 100 buckaroos. Awesome.

well, this was quick and painless.. tah-tah
